The EasyDip Slide Staining Kit contains 5 EasyDip Slide Staining Jars (one of each color) and 1 EasyDip Slide Staining Rack. The EasyDip Slide Staining Jar is made of acetal polymer and has an attached lid. The jar uses just 80ml reagent for 12 slides and is resistant to most staining agents including alcohol and xylene. Temperature range: -80°C to +30°C. Dimensions: 2 1/2" x 3" x 3 5/8" (H). The jars can be used individually or linked together and can be used with the EasyDip Slide Staining Rack.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Immuno Stain Moisture Chamber Clear
Low-cost, high precision moisture chamber for ten slides. Each moisture chamber is divided into ten individual compartments with approximately half-inch empty space between the compartments. When the chamber lid is closed, eight barrier dividers are placed into the empty spaces between the microscope slide compartments completely isolating all compartments. Desirable for immuno staining.
The microscope slides are placed on four pedestal posts and four corner posts each 0.460 inch (11.5 mm) high thus raising the surface of the slides approximately half-inch off the floor to keep the slides away from the water below and to make the slides easily retrievable (either by hand or by forcep). The chamber is fabricated out of heavy-duty polystyrene with an air-tight design to keep moisture in. The chambers are designed to be stackable in order to save counter and/or refrigerator space.

Visualization of mitochondria is necessary to observe the interaction between mitochondria and other organelles. Fluorescent protein labeling, immunostaining, and fluorescent probes are commonly used for this purpose, although each of these methods has its own flaws. The fluorescent protein labeling method requires gene transfer, and certain methods of immunostaining may be incompatible with multiple staining, depending on the animal species of the primary antibody.
